pvdlPieter van der Lugt is a freelancer based in Cape Town with twenty years experience in writing, editing and translation for print and electronic media. He's available for work in Afrikaans or English. His specialist fields are entertainment, pop culture and literature.
  Pieter also writes Afrikaans songs (his best-known is Voëlvry) as well as lyrics such as the original words for Our Heritage, recorded by Die Heuwels Fantasties, Soweto Gospel choir, HHP and JR for the Heritage Day Braai project. Download the song and find out more at Braai 4 Heritage.
